Experimental electronic music meets hip-hop, misique concrète, and plunderphonia, with two live performances and a DJ set.

Local IDM hero Doofgoblin is already notorious around these parts for his improvisational glitch-beat landscapes — don’t let his inclusion in the Onion’s Worst Band Names of 2007 list dissuade you from checking out his fine work.

Doof’s collaborators on a recent split album, North-Carolinian rhythm-twisting sensations A Drop in Silence will grace our fair town with more crunchy, thudding beats.

DJ Hummingbird Feeder, better known (if known at all) for his Hip-Hop, Post-Punk, and Soul dance nights, will take the opportunity to showcase his first musical love, IDM and Breakcore, in a short-attention-span live DJ mix.
