Audio January: NanoHz No. 8

The HzCollective presents an evening of restrained and svory improvised noises by an international electro-acoustic line-up. NanoHz No 8 fill feature Vslykon, a duo from Tokyo and California who make late-night dream-music; the digitally processed sitar sounds of Baltimore’s Amrita K Dang; the serene-yet-disturbing whispers of Sadjeljko from New York; and Charlottesville musicians Shrey Tone and the Pinko Communoids, known locally as well as internationally for their abstract noises made with circuit-bent electronics, guitars, accordians, paperclips, and ping-pong balls.
