Saturday, April 5th at 8pm
Four musical acts will come together on April 5 at a Benefit event for the Charlottesville Free Clinic. The Free Clinic is a volunteer community health support system that provides high quality health care to the working uninsured. The Free Clinic encourages early intervention, primary care visits, and follow-up, saving both lives and dollars.
The relevant musical acts will include The Invisible Hand, Adam Smith’s long-running project backed by an rotating cast of Charlottesville all-stars; local indie-rockers Quiet My Dear, and the resuscitation of long-dormant Med School noise act Doubting Thomas, who have now been re-dubbed The Clarence Thomas Action-Adventure Unit. Interludes, vamping, and a closing round of dance tunes will be provided by DJ Hummingbird Feeder. The event begins at 8pm, and admission is $5.
