Chris Ambler will present his audio installation “Playing the City.” The structure of this piece centers on the collective creativity of the audience. Using a variety of audio sources from sound environments in Charlottesville, the installation calls for listener participation. By allowing the audience to have control over their sound environment, the piece aims to widen their sensual perception– an effort that promotes the reconsideration of our surrounding world.
