Kick off to “Kickstand”—Charlottesville’s Newest Bike Zine!

….Followed by SCAVENGER HUNT by bicycle! (Don’t forget your blinky light.) The event will include readings, music by Accordion Death Squad (a traditional Ratslyvanian biker band), making bike inner tube wallets, raffle, snacks AND… special guests: Books On Wheels from Richmond! Local artist and bicyclist, Sean Purl Samoheyl will also be on hand with a fabulous puppet show! Community Bikes, ACCT and friends have created a little, spunky publication packed full of stories, poems, and pics that highlight the fun and amazing possibilities when we travel by bike—all in perfect time to welcome spring and encourage potential bikers everywhere to haul out that two wheeled beauty……
