Worn In Red, Hail Hydra, Order
Thursday, April 2, 8pm | $5

Worn in Red are a screamy, driving cathari-rock act from Charlottesville and Richmond. They’ve been around since November of 2004, though the current line-up has only been together since October of 2007. They have been fortunate to play with a bunch of rad bands, including: Melt-Banana, Glass & Ashes, Modern Life Is War, Thunderlip!, The Life & Times, Bella Fea, Pash, Young Livers, Mass Movement of the Moth, The Points, Mouthbreather, The Catalyst, I Am The Avalanche, Jena Berlin, Sparrows Swarm & Sing, Pink Razors, Bullet Train To Vegas, Tubers, Young Hearts, Pyramids, Lost Hands Found Fingers, This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, The Draft, Small Brown Bike, and Seaweed.
Hail Hydra: There are multiple boxes around these words that might do better justice than a bunch of adjectives and nouns that are going to make us sound like assholes. As far as who we are none of us were raised by wolves, but could very well have been bore by bear. Someone asked someone to play an instrument who asked someone who asked someone there’s an origin story for you.
Order: five brothers all born of different mothers, collect and gather, only to appear before crowds to display their own unique talents, blasting, masting, crasting, hafsting and of course stingsting. they are recognized by children, and children recognize them. im scared to say hello to each one. ive seen each face. they twist arms. and furrow always furrowing. all born in unique regions. all born in distinct fegions. whatever its all subjective.
