Leeyanne Moore

Leeyanne Moore has been a Bridge literary committee member since 2009.  A graduate of Smith College she has an M.F.A. in fiction from Syracuse University and has published works from her two short story collections SHE KNEW HER HAGS and EXPERIENCE IS A MEAN SCHOOL in various literary journals, including Western Humanities Review, Mildred Pierce, and McSweeney’s Internet Tendencies.  In addition to writing fiction, Leeyanne has experience with writing film scripts, plays, and working on graphic novels.  She loves any kind of cross-hybrid, innovative, experimental, or avant-guard writing, and her goal is to create a home in Charlottesville for innovative writing at The Bridge.  Leeyanne is also a big fan of cross-arts or hybrid arts programming.
