“Fighting to Protect Our Home”
Over 500 Appalachian mountains have been blown up and entire communities have been displaced. Come learn how you are connected to it and how you can help stop the destruction and help Appalachian communities build their own healthy economy. Come hear from residents living in the destruction that we perpetuate. Speakers directly from West Virginia, with the Keeper of the Mountains Foundation, will let you know how you can give back to stop mountaintop removal, and build a healthy, local economy. Sponsored by Appalachian Voices. Plus, bike mania!!!!
Classes provided by “The Unearthing” project by Zap McConnell
